Our seven beautiful har-tru tennis courts are open from late April until early November, as weather allows. Members may organize their own recreational play, and there are regular all-comers doubles games organized on weekends, good ways to meet other members.

Suitable white attire and tennis shoes appropriate for Har-Tru surface are required while playing on our courts. Color outerwear, hats, and shoes allowed.

Club Social Events and Tournaments
Member-run events and tournaments are typically held each season, generally on Saturdays, with a light lunch and refreshments, plus prizes for winners. Events vary from year to year, but always kick off in early May with a Season Opening Mixed Doubles Scramble and include Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day Doubles Scrambles. In addition, annual club tournaments include Mixed Doubles Championships and Women’s and Men’s Member-Guests.

Team Competition

For men, the Club fields teams in the in the Westchester County Tennis League that play on Tuesday nights and an age 50 and over team plays on Sunday afternoons.

Jr. Quick Start

Ages 4-6 (red ball)

In the quick start program we will focus on lots of hand-eye coordination drills, using both dominant and non-dominant hands. We will

work on movement, generating the correct form on all strokes to help your children transition to the orange ball and larger court.

Jr. Stars

Ages 7-9 (orange ball)

Like the Jr. Quick Start program, we are still focusing on hand-eye coordination, but adding footwork. Along with that, will be proper stroke technique, as well as using the appropriate size court to help maximize rallying success.

Jr. All Stars

Ages 10 & up (green dot/regular)

For this age group, we will continue to focus on correct form and technique, as well as adding proper grip and implementing top-spin. We will be utilizing the whole court in this group, heavily emphasizing rallying and consistency, as well as some fitness and agility drills to get them covering the whole court.
