Pound Ridge Tennis Club
Founded in 1964, the Pound Ridge Tennis Club is a private, member-run club for tennis and platform tennis enthusiasts of all ages. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious. Events are typically organized and hosted by member-volunteers, creating a sense of community and mutual regard. It is a place for building lasting friendships centered on keen competition in a beautiful setting.
Set on eight wooded acres, our Club features seven Har-tru tennis courts, three lighted platform tennis courts, an idyllic pond, and a clubhouse for entertaining.
Programs include tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball featuring recreational play and member events, adult and youth team competition, and instruction for all levels.
Club News and Upcoming Events
Based on guidance provided by Westchester County and New York State officials, as well as by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and American Platform Tennis Association (APTA), our club’s tennis and platform courts are open for Member-Only play and lessons.
Fall is a busy season at PRTC! Our Har-tru tennis courts remain open until early November, as weather allows; members are playing both pickleball and platform tennis on our platform tennis courts; and Junior Fall Tennis Clinics are in full swing. For those interested in joining our club, discounted membership dues are available to new members between July 1 and the end of the year.
